We’ve been working with our corporate partner Zurich to help your organisations prepare for and work through recovery – identifying approaches and tools to help you build on the opportunities / learning; and address the challenges that have emerged from the Covid crisis to build for a stronger future.

The webinars aim to help you make changes now that will help your organisations be Covid-19 secure and resilient in the new future landscape.

Resilience Top Tips – Keith Goddard, Occupational Psychologist (open to all Zurich charity partners)

During this one hour “Resilience and Wellbeing Team Talk”, Keith Goddard, a Registered Occupational and a Registered Sports & Exercise Psychologist, will share his expertise and experience in the field of resilience and wellbeing, focusing on some of the tools and ‘top tips’ individuals & teams can use during challenging times. Keith is a firm believer that by focusing on and getting our own well-being right first puts us in a greater position to support our colleagues and teams.

These past three months have seen new challenges and experiences for us all, with many of us now juggling so many different responsibilities. Many people believe they should just be able to get on and do it, some can… but for the vast majority of us we can benefit from some top tips to help guide us along the way. During this hour long session, we will ensure there is ample time for those joining us to ask questions and probe deeper into some of Keith’s insights.

Operating Models- including IT Strategy (specific to the Age UK network)

The webinar will provide an overview of what an operating model is, what elements make it up, and run through some tools which can be used to help understand and use various approaches to identify and implement improvements. The key takeaway message is to de-mystify what an Operating Model / Target Operating Model is through providing some practical tools and templates for partners to go back to their teams and assess their own.

Registration for Zurich Webinars now showing the correct time/date

If you have already signed up to the Zurich webinars you may have found that the confirmation email showed the incorrect date and time. We have spoken to Zurich to amend this problem.

This week we posted an article on Zurich’s series of webinars for the local Age UK network over the next few weeks. If you have already signed up to the Zurich webinars you may have found that the confirmation email showed the incorrect date and time.

We have followed up with Zurich and this has now been amended. For those have already registered, the confirmation will not resend, however the confirmation email should include the option of adding the event to your outlook. This reflects the correct time and date of each webinar and saves it in your diary with the web link to access it.

Thank you to everyone who responded to our earlier call out for the questions you most want answered. We will be advertising the webinars over the coming weeks to ensure all Age UK partners know what’s on offer. Click below to see the first three webinars available:

Zurich offer digital training webinar to Age UK network

Zurich wish to support the Age UK network by organising a digital training webinar. Find out how you can submit your questions and access two online training videos for using Microsoft Teams.

Zurich have a team of specialists who have spent many years in Digital Marketing and Digital Experience. They want to support the local Age UK network by organising a digital training webinar. If you are interested in taking part, please complete the ‘Zurich Training Survey’ by 26th June outlining the questions you most want answered.

This webinar (date/time TBC) will take a Q&A format offering some practical answers and tips around: 

  • Digital customer experience including web user experience design and build 
  • How your customers find you – such as optimising for Google search  
  • Monitoring and analysing your Digital Analytics and how to optimise and improve   
  • Managing agencies  

Interested in joining this webinar? We’re asking for you to submit any questions you have on this topic to be submitted in advance so we can make this as useful and relevant for you as possible! Note that no personal data will be shared with Zurich, the responses will be submitted to a member of the Age UK team.

Zurich – Microsoft Teams Training Videos  

Zurich have also shared two online training videos for Microsoft Teams.  

The first video provides ‘An overview of using Microsoft Teams and its functionality’, including creating channels, editing posts, creating notifications, sharing files, using the ‘planner’ and chat functions. This video is 30 minutes (note that the video starts at 13 mins 10 secs) 

The second video provides more specific information on ‘Creating a Team’ including the basics of creating a team, adding members, restricting access and administrator roles. This video is 13 minutes.
