Age UK Leicester, Shire & Rutland Featured on BBC news
Age UK Leicester, Shire & Rutland were very pleased to have had a piece published on the BBC website all about their new over 55’s ballet classes – the Silver Swan taster sessions. The piece was filmed at their day centre at Clarence House and hopefully will encourage people to get out, get fit and to use the centre.
“I’ve always wanted to do ballet. You know, the little girl wants to have the tutu, but unfortunately we didn’t have the finance to do it. So it’s a lifelong dream – a long time coming but it’s never too late.”One of the ballet class participants
