The 2022 Influencing Conference will take place online from 10am – 3pm on Wednesday 12th October 2022! We are welcoming staff, volunteers and trustees from across the Age UK Network to join together and learn from each other about local and national influencing and the important work happening across the country. The cost of living crisis will continue plunging many older people into trouble and a new Prime Minister will be elected imminently. This year’s conference will be a chance for local Age UKs to discuss how we can best support older people and what the new Prime Minister’s priorities will mean for older people in the UK. The conference will also feature workshops on topics like digital exclusion and media engagement, with insight from local partners working on these issues.
