Age UK Sheffield Shortlisted in the 2021 Sheffield Business Awards

Age UK Sheffield have been shortlisted in the Social Impact category in the 2021 Sheffield Business Awards!

The charity is in the final four of the Social Impact category alongside Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care, Sheffield Futures, and Sheffield United Community Foundation. Age UK Sheffield were shortlisted for their work over the last 18 months, which included delivering 3,298 essential food parcels to older people who were shielding from Covid-19 and providing casework to 3,879 older people in Sheffield.

Three vacancies at Age UK Hillingdon, Harrow & Brent

Age UK Hillingdon, Harrow and Brent currently have three open roles available. They’re seeking: a Hospital Discharge Service Coordinator, a Hospital Support Worker, and a Help at Home Assistant. This is an exciting time to join Age UK Hillingdon, Harrow and Brent with the launch of their new charity strategy.

Six open roles at Age UK Sheffield

Age UK Sheffield is currently looking to fill six vacancies, including Facilities Manager for their exciting new Lottery-funded facilities in Hillsborough Park in 2022. They are also seeking Independent Living Co-ordinators, a Marketing Co-ordinator, and staff for several other positions too.

Administration Officer (Support Services) Role at Age UK Somerset

Age UK Somerset are seeking an Administration Officer within their Support Service function. The Administration Officer will play a key role in administering, monitoring, and reporting on a range of elements that include Personnel, Governance, Quality and Health & Safety.

Empowered Carers Facilitator at Age UK Salford

The Empowered team at Age UK Salford are looking for an experienced and qualified Talking Therapist, Counsellor or Coach with a professional qualification in health and social care and previous experience of working with people living with dementia. The Empowered Carers service offers free online support to provide carers in Salford with practical advice to support them and their loved ones and help cope with the realities of living with dementia.

Finance Trustee Role at Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire

Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire are seeking a Finance Trustee to join their Board. The Trustees have independent control over, and legal responsibility for, the charity’s management and administration, and the role of the Finance Trustee is to maintain an overview of the charity’s affairs, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained.
