Age UK Richmond upon Thames publishes new book

Age UK Richmond upon Thames have produced and published a book ‘Everyone Has a Story’ which includes 40 fascinating personal memories, from people aged 55 to 99 at Age UK Richmond. The stories were submitted as part of their Writing Challenges (an initiative run during the hard months of lockdowns). Check out the press release below. Two new roles at Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are currently seeking a Handyperson Team Leader and a Volunteer Lead. Both posts are home based but travel is required throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Age UK Calderdale & Kirklees are currently recruiting for two new roles. Age UK Calderdale and Kirklees is a local independent charity that helps over 800 local older people every week, offering activities, events, befriending and information.

Finance Trustee Role at Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire

Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire are seeking a Finance Trustee to join their Board. The Trustees have independent control over, and legal responsibility for, the charity’s management and administration, and the role of the Finance Trustee is to maintain an overview of the charity’s affairs, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained.
