Webinar: The impact of the pandemic on older people’s physical & mental health

Age UK’s Heath Influencing Team are hosting a webinar to present their research on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on older people’s physical and mental health.

The Health Influencing Team invites all members of the Age UK network to hear about our latest findings on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on older people’s physical and mental health. The webinar will take place Tuesday 20th April from 4-5pm. You can sign up to the webinar here or read on for more information.

Following on from our report last year, we have repeated the survey and polling to understand how older people are managing a year into the pandemic and the impact of another period of lockdown restrictions.

The findings include quantitative statistics and powerful personal testimonies of the pandemic, which will helpfully paint a picture for decision makers, statutory and community services and the public as to the needs of older people following the Covid-19 pandemic.

You can sign up to the webinar here.

If you cannot make it in person, don’t worry, we will be recording the webinar and sharing this so you can watch at your own convenience. Any queries please get in touch, healthinfluencing@ageuk.org.uk.
